I am a strong believer in taking responsibility for our own health and wellbeing, and have always been interested in natural routes.
I discovered
homeopathy over 20 years ago and have been using it ever since.
I was diagnosed with a thyroid condition in my 30s. My body did not respond sufficiently to the medication I was put on and so I began searching for alternatives.
I consulted a homeopath, things started to
change and I have not looked back since. I subsequently took my daughter
to see her for oral thrush, which kept recurring despite anti-fungal
medication.
I was so impressed with the results that I was inspired to enrol on a 4-year
course at the School of Homeopathy in Stroud. That was ten years ago,
and since then neither of us have needed any medication other than
homeopathy and nutritional supplements.
Food, nutrition and yoga are also an important part of my life as well as
making time to have fun. Last year I enrolled on a part time Nutrition
course with the School of Health to deepen my understanding of this
hugely important subject.
I am passionate about using what I have learned so far to help others
feel better.
There is, however, so much more still to learn, and for this
reason I attend regular CPD courses, which have the added benefit
of connection with fellow homeopaths. These are some of the
courses I have done in the last few years:
Post Graduate Course – Welsh School of Homeopathy
Homeopathy for Eczema – Centre for Homeopathic Education
Helping Children with Autism – Mike Andrews
Homeobotanical Therapy – Deborah Kerslake
